Hello readers. I'm back today a little earlier then planned only because this is a very controversial subject that i had a lot of questions about by family and peers and needs to be spoken on. So what it comes down to is, are Electronic Cigarettes bad for you? My question is more so, does anyone know for sure? It doesn't seem to have a definite answer.
The FDA seems to think they're poison and tried to ban the new devices upon their arrival in the US. Needless to say it's not currently approved by the Food and Drug Administration and they felt so strongly about this they stopped the importing of these devices to the states at one point. Manufactured in China originally but now also in the US, Electronic cigarettes are "said" to contain the same cancer causing bacteria as cigarettes not to mention a drug called diethylene glycol also found in antifreeze and smoke machines, but said to not be harmful.
Now like i said earlier folks, this is a very controversial subject and even M.D.s have mixed opinions. Doctors that head the American Cancer Society give it a go while others of the same Association don't trust it but cant prove its harm. And yes the found the same cancer causing chemical in it also found in cigarettes but that was in the earlier stages. Health Administrations ran recent test on vapors and also found the same chemical agent. Studies show their was such an insignificant trace of this chemical agent if any at all, but have yet to prove it to be harmless. Heres some feedback from some smokers and doctors:

So as you can nobody really knows but everyone seems to be ok with it for the most part besides the FDA. O yeah, and this guy:
"Electronic cigarettes should be absolutely avoided because they clearly have toxic elements," said Dr. Jonathan Whiteson, a pulmonologist at New York University Langone Medical Center. "It is proven now that electronic cigarettes contain toxic elements. Electronic cigarettes play no role in smoking cessation and don't add to a healthier lifestyle."
Ok so time for my opinion: So theres no doubt that theres is toxins in the vapor, the question is how much and is it that harmful? Obviously proven to be less harmful than cigarettes. And in no way am i promoting this as a "quit smoking aid" but also proven to help people quit smoking! Well thats all i have today and listen; i would love opinions on this issue so please don't be afraid to reply with some feedback on the blog here. Thanks again for reading folks and i will see you for tomorrows topic, Electronic Cigarette Venders and Will These Devices Save Smokers Money?
